A South Korean company, Shints Garments, inaugurated dormitory buildings that could accommodate 3,300 workers at Bole Lemi Industrial Park.
The company built the housing and and othe facilities needed for at a cost of 10 million US dollars.
Ethiopian investment commission commissioner Lelise Neme, and CEO of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation, Sandokan Debebe, attended the inauguration event on Friday.
The newly inaugurated housing project would be key to enhance employee retention, and improve productivituat the Industrial Park, officials said.
Shints Ethiopia Plc is one of the major garment manufacturers in the Industrial Park located in the outskirts of Addis Ababa.
