After a week-long strike, Wolqite resumes its regularly scheduled operations

Wolkite is back in operation after being closed for a week.
It should be noted that Wolkite City’s citizens have repeatedly called for a solution to the city’s water shortage.

The conflict that occurred as the demand for a solution to the water problem was being made resulted in the loss of life, and this will not be forgotten.
Residents then went on a week-long strike without leaving their homes.

Residents of Wolkite’s zone and city told Ethio FM that today is a typical business day in and around Wolkite.
Some grocery stores, pharmacies, and eateries have reopened during normal business hours as a result.
After speaking with elderly people, injured families, and young people, the city resumed its regular operations today, locals told Ethio FM.
