At a cost of 108 million dollars, an industrial village will be constructed in Bishoftu city

A contract for the construction of a new industrial park in Bishoftu has been signed by East Africa Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and the Ethiopian Investment Commission.

East Africa Holding’s owner, Mudahehu Tadele, and Deputy Commissioner Daniel Teresa of the Ethiopian Investment Commission signed the contract.

The industrial village will be built on 100 hectares of land for 108 million dollars .

In 3 to 5 years, the construction process will be completed, providing 15,000 locals with employment opportunities.

According to Daniel Teresa, Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, who was present at the signing ceremony, sustainable economic reforms are a priority.

The deputy commissioner claims that Ethiopia has been successful in luring foreign direct investment to Africa.
