Dr. Abraham Belay, Minister of Defense, and General Al-Bula Tadese, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Defense Forces, led a delegation to the International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi. During his visit, he met with the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chief of Staff, and advised them on how to strengthen and expand their existing cooperation.
Despite Ethiopia and Abu Dhabi’s long history of friendship and cooperation, they also discussed future areas where they might be able to collaborate in order to maintain their good image.
Recognizing the long-term importance of defense industry development and investment for the institution and the country, they discussed in depth how it can be expanded, as well as the exchange of best practices.
Ethiopia is exchanging experiences with other countries, particularly in the industrial sector, in order to provide modern technology to the Ethiopian Defense Forces.
