ADDIS ABABA – GebeyaX, an Ethiopian ecommerce and delivery startup, announced its participation in Morocco’s GITEX Africa 2023.
The annual pan-African forum in Marrakech will be held for three days, beginning May 31.
It serves as a platform for showcasing innovative technologies and solutions that will drive the digital transformation of Africa.
The Ethiopian startup company will present its pioneer Construction and spare part ecommerce platform.
“GebeyaX is thrilled to participate in GITEX Africa 2023 and showcase its innovative ecommerce platform to the world,” its CEO Ephrem Degaga said.
The event is also expected to bring the leading brands, next-gen innovators, global startups, investors, and founders under one roof.
“As an ecommerce company, we are proud to represent our country and showcase the potential of our construction material ecommerce industry,” Ephrem said.
“We look forward to meeting with other entrepreneurs and investors at the event and exploring new opportunities for growth.”
The Ministry of Innovation and Technology sponsored its participation in GITEX Africa 2023.
GebeyaX is a product of JICA’s accelerator program “Ninja accelerator”. It envisions offering a seamless and secure online shopping experience that has earned it a loyal vendor base and delivery drivers.
