The Addis Abeba City Administration Health Office has declared that it has done out several condom-related operations. Sister Felech Andarge, Director of the Office’s HIV Multidisciplinary Response Directorate, told Bisrat Radio that Addis Abeba distributed more than 6 million condoms in the first six months of the 2015 fiscal year.
According to Sister Felke, increasing the number of condoms distributed by various humanitarian organisations will boost performance. Work on condoms and their use is now underway, particularly in areas that are more vulnerable to HIV and require special attention, and it has been suggested that it be continued in the future.
They argued that in order to run an effective condom distribution and use campaign in the city, they would need to work with other stakeholders.
