ADDIS ABABA – Les Saveurs d’Ethiopie Paris-Addis offered a three-day coffee roasting training session for producers and exporters of Ethiopian coffee.
The session was aimed at contributing to the efforts of adding value to coffee production, the organisers said.
Different companies engaged in the production and export of Ethiopian coffee as well as Ethiopian Coffee Exporters Associations participated in the training that concluded on Sunday, according to Ethiopian embassy in Paris.
Les Saveurs d’Ethiopie Paris-Addis collaborated with Vincent balotte café Lagrange to organise the Roasting training carried out with Specialty Coffee Association standard.
The organisers have been working on the realization of the project of building a coffee training school in Addis since 2019 with the assistance of the Embassy of Ethiopia in Paris.
“In this regard, this training is considered as an initial step of the project,” the embassy added.
