Mozambican President Felipe Nyusi had to leave the African Union Summit early due to heavy rains and a looming tropical storm.
According to the UN, the typhoon could cause serious problems in Madagascar, affecting up to two million people.
“We need to begin acting as if we value our experience,” he said. It is expected to affect African countries along the coast.
