ADDIS ABABA – The Pakistan business delegation embarked on an official business and Investment visit to Ethiopia.
The visit follows an Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) mission in Pakistan to pitch and attract investors.
The delegates, who arrived in Addis Ababa on Sunday afternoon for a five-day visit, were welcomed at the airport by State minister of Foreign Affairs Birtukan Ayano, and deputy chief of EIC Daniel Teresa.
The visiting Pakistani delegation consists of more than 70 investors and government officials.
During their stay, they will explore investment and business opportunities in Ethiopia, according to the EIC.
Ethiopia and Pakistan recently signed a bilateral trade agreement paving the way for the establishment of a joint trade committee and a joint business council to facilitate frequent and structured business-to-business interaction between the two countries.
