ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is in Kampala for a day long working visit at the invitation of President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni.
On Sunday morning, the Prime Minister and his delegation left Addis Ababa for Kampala, where he held talks with the President Museveni.
The duo “held discussions on strengthening bilateral ties and on regional issues of mutual concern,” said the Prime Minister Office of Ethiopia.
“My appreciation to President Museveni for a warm welcome to Uganda and important deliberations on various bilateral and regional issues,” PM Abiy said. “I look forward to meeting again soon.”
Along with Prime Minister Abiy, Binalf Andualem, Prosperity Party Office Head, and Redwan Hussain, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, are part of the Ethiopian delegation that is in Uganda.
