ADDIS ABABA – President Sahle-Work Zewde held a conversation with her counterpart President Alassane Ouattara in Cote d’Ivoire’s economic capital Abidjan.
Sahle-work and Ouattarra “acknowledged the excellent cooperation” between the two countries during their meeting, Sahle-work’s Office said on Thursday.
The two sides also discussed ways to consolidate and strengthen relations, particularly, through the African Continental Free Trade Area framework.
President Sahle-Work went to Abidjan to take part in the African Investment Forum (AIF2022), which started on Wednesday..
The three-day forum has drawn project sponsors, investors, and heads of state from around the worl to participate in boardroom sessions that could lead to transactions worth billions of dollars.
