Ethio Telecom CEO Frehiwot Tamru and President of the Federal Supreme Court signed the partnership agreement on Tuesday.

The courts, the telco says, will be equipped with a reliable power supply backup network and secured network modular data center, cloud service, video surveillance, OTN system, network operation center, wide and local area networks as well as software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN).

The infrastructures would enhance the federal courts capacity to provide fast, efficient, modern and accessible judicial services to clients, according to ethio telecom.

“The completion of this infrastructure would enable the federal courts’ judicial services to be accessible, reliable, create accessibility of information to its stakeholders,… thereby increasing public confidence in judicial services,” the telco said.

The agreement signed on Tuesday would also pave the way for the two institutions to strengthen their strategic partnership in areas of telecom services such as in capacity building, as well as knowledge and technology transfer.
