Taye Dendea is arrested by the police one day after making contentious remarks about the prime minister

Taye Dendea, the former minister of state for peace, has been placed under legal supervision, according to a statement released today by the Joint Task Force for Security and Safety.

According to the joint task force, Dendea was observed carrying out the official tasks that the people and the government had assigned him, particularly in his capacity as Minister of State for Peace, where he was in charge of enforcing peace. However, the statement claimed that he was discovered collaborating with anti-peace forces to carry out a mission of destruction aimed at obliterating Ethiopia.

The task force declared in the statement that Taye was complicit in the terrorist acts being committed against defenceless civilians throughout our nation, particularly with regard to kidnapping.

Following receipt of the PM’s resignation letter, Taye sharply denounced PM Abyi, labelling him conceited and unloving of peace.
