The Tigray Regional Interim Government claims to be on an unbreakable route to peace

According to the Interim Government Committee of Tigray Region, the peace agreement reached between the federal government and Tigrayan forces is irreversible.

The two-year conflict came to an end in Pretoria, South Africa, with the signing of a peace and cease-fire agreement.

According to the Tigray Region Interim Government Committee, the peace agreement is progressing well. The committee’s chairman, General Tadese Worede , stated that the peace agreement is still in effect and that efforts are continue.

In a statement, General Tadese stated that efforts are being made to construct the Tigray interim administration in democratic way.

He also indicated that efforts are being made to remove all Eritrean soldiers from the Tigray area. Muluwork Kidanemariam, a committee member, indicated that an interim administration should be formed to address the Tigray region’s critical crisis. “All Tigrayans should support the formation of a transitional administration,” he said.
